What to look for
- Separate accounts or a shared login. A shared login is quick to set up; separate accounts let each person keep their own sign-in and let you remove a sitter later without changing a password.
- Is sharing free? Some apps put caregiver sync behind a subscription.
- Is it live? The point is not having to ask “did you feed her?” — a feed logged on one phone should appear on the other right away.
- Do running timers travel? If one parent starts a nap, the other should see it running.
- Can a grandparent join without installing an app? A web version makes the difference for occasional caregivers.

Our take
If you want separate accounts and free sharing, LunaLog is built around exactly that, and it runs in a browser for anyone who doesn’t want the app. If one shared login is fine and you want expert sleep coaching, Huckleberry is the established choice. Nara and Baby Daybook both let one subscription cover the whole family, which is worth it if you’re paying anyway.
